He added that they founded Soma restaurant to promote the fusion of Ayurveda and food. Even though it is an Ayurvedic Kitchen, netizens often wonder about the reason for fast food like Vada Pao and Dumplings on the menu of this restaurant. Responding to this, Himanshu, said that their Vada Pao is different from the ordinary stall-made or restaurant. He claimed that their Pao is made of Ragi which is known for having a cooling effect in Ayurveda. Whereas for Vada, the chefs of Soma Kitchen have coated these potato balls with the nutritious Moong Daal. “Vada Pao at our restaurant is recommended for the people who are suffering from Kapha Dosha,” added Himanshu. According to Ayurveda, Kapha Dosha is for those personality who tend to remain lazy and relaxed throughout the day. Here, dumplings are offered with a blend of wheat, beetroot and a medley of ricotta, cottage cheese and spinach.
